Should I Go To The Emergency Room Immediately For Heavy Bleeding After Hysteroscopy & Polypectomy?

i had a hysteroscopy & polypectomy over 1 week ago. I have had heavy bleeding with clots ever since. After the 7th day of this, I went to the doctor who gave me tranexamic acid. Now I am bleeding heavier and passing larger blood clots. Do i go to immediately to emergency room or wait until first thing in the morning.

hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern and my suggestion is to go to the emergency room as soon as possible since you are bleeding for a week and your bleeding becomes much heavier. There is always risk of developing shock and its consequences.

I hope this asnwer was helpful to you.
