Should I Give Ciproxin To My Wife?

Dear sir, my wife has been treated for typhoid two months ago. She got Inj Titan 1gm BD for four days and then Tab Cefixime OD for five days. She recovered, however now again has been suffering from fever and got tyhydot positive. She is now on Ciproxin. Is it Ok or otherwise, please.

This is absolutely OK to be on Ciproxin.
The test of typhoid may remain positive for 6 months even after the patient is cured of typhoid.
I think you should take another opinion of another Doctor to search for other co-incidental causes of fever too. It is possible to have additional medical problem along with typhoid.
