Should I Be Concerned For The Lump On The Uvula Which Has Not Gone After Taking Antibiotics?

I have had a lump on my uvula probably since springtime or at least that's when I first noticed it. I went to a walk in clinic with a sore throat and they treated me for strep. I finished the antibiotics and noticed the lump is still there and still has not gone away. It does not hurt, burn, itch or anything. I always forget about it. Compared to my uvula it is small but noticeable. It's round and yellow. Like I said no pain whatsoever. I can swallow fine. Should I be worried?

Hello,
It can be possible that you are having an aphthous ulcer on your uvula as it is round and yellow in color.
But it is taking quite a long time to heal, i think you should visit your doctor again and get a culture done of the lump, which will give you the diagnosis.
Thank you.
