Should I Be Concerned About Swollen Leg Without Prior Injury?

5 days ago my right foot begin to swell for no reason and no injury. My husband took me to the ER and my bp was 150/120. The ER doctor did a sono of my right leg to look for a blood clot but when that came back fine they discharged me without doing blood work or EKG or anything. My primary care doctor was out of town and the nurse suggested I go to an urgent care for EKG and chest X-ray. My EKG was abnormal and has the following on it: Sinus rhythm rapid Probable inferior infarct QS in III w/ Q in II slight mid and left precordial repolarization disturbance, consider ischemia Small negative T in V3 V4 V5 with flat or low T in V6 The reason I am asking is because the two urgent care doctors got into a heated disagreement over my EKG results but since my chest X-ray was apparently okay my treating doctor came in and said both X-ray and EKG were normal. I was handed my EKG as I was walking out and told take this to my doctor. Is there some reason to be concerned based on these results and my still swollen right foot? I thank you for your time Ps. I am on oxygen 24/7 which I begin 3 months ago for shortness of breath and hypoxia with a blood oxy saturation that would drop into the 70s. Not sure if any of this could be related or not.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. Your history of swelling over one foot only can have a local problem. It is advisable to go for X-ray of the swollen part. If your X-ray is normal how is that you are on Oxygen? It is better to have another EKG and opinion as a follow-up to confirm or rule out any problem. If there is a generalized problem related to heart or kidney the swelling will be on both the feet.
