Shortness Of Breath More Pronounced When Lying Down, Fever. Blood Tests, Urine Tests Negative. Advise?

I have just recovered from a mysterious fever that blood tests and urine tests all came back as negative. I have just returned from Mozambique, east africa. * separate tests for various Malaria strains also came back negative.
The last two days i have had a shortness of breath which is more pronounced when i recline or attempt to lay down. I put the shortness of breath down to the fever wearing me down but the worsening when reclining is new.

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. I believe that you may have a cardiac condition as you have shortness of breath which is more pronounced when you recline or attempt to lay down. I would recommend that you see a cardiologist to find out if your heart is doing okay. This way you will be able to rule out any cardiac pathology. Going to Mozambique may have just aggravated the condition.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
