Shaved Pubic Area, Had Sexual Intercourse, Got Little Water Bumps In Right Side Of Pubic Area, Swollen, Abdominal Pain.
Hi, im a male, 27 years old sexually active, like two weeks ago I shaved my pubic area and also that same day I had sexual intercourse with a female using a condom. Right after that I started to get some little water bumps in the right side of my pubic area and also the right site of my pubic area got swollen and inflammation causing some abdominal pain specially when I had to be on my feet on a very long period of time, when I lift heavy things, etc. I went to see a doctor and after feeling and checking my swollen part on my pubic area he said that it was a hernia . Also about the water bumps on my right side of my pubic area I Broke them and put some alcohol on it and some body powder and they dried and disappeared. Although the doctor said that the bumps were because of shaving irritation and the inflammation because of a hernia I still feel concern that could be something else.

Pain,inflammation is most likely due to local infection of hair roots after sex.
It usually occurs after some abrasions and cut after sex.
Take proper local care.apply antibiotic cream on it.
Swelling might be due to hernia,your doctor is the right person to diagnosis after your physical examination.hernia has no relation with recent infection.
Swelling of hernia always increases with strain,heavy work.
Avoid any weight lifting and heavy work.
You can wait till it is reducible otherwise surgery is the only treatment for it.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
