Sharp Pains With Drastic Change In Bm, Pain In Rectum/anus. Family History Of Colon Cancer. Same Thing ?
Hello there. I have recently been seen by a gastroenterologist for sharp pains with bm as well as a drastic change in my bm, blood in my stool . This visit is resulting in a colonoscopy on the 29th of Aug. I am only 25 yrs old and along with these other issues I am now having uncomfortable pains in mY rectum/ anus . I do have colon cancer in my family.
Hi welcome to HCMForum. It may or may not be the cancer.
it is not mandatory that it should occur genetically. blood
motions and pain in the may also occur in amoebic colitis.
If biopsy is done and your doctor anounces then you worry
about it .For relief i advise you some diet recomendations
besides medical treatment as avoid taking spices chillies
junk foods oily foods. take more of curd and bananas
with food. thank you.
hi
looking at your age ..the most common conditions which present with blood in stool and pains are
1)colitis 2)any gastric infection
3)ulcers in anus called as anal fissure
4)irritable bowel syndrome which is usually seen in persons who are stressed and anxious
4)piles
fortunately all these conditions can be managed at home itself
here are the recommendations
1)drink at least 10 glasses of water every day
2)include high fiber diet..for example fresh sruit..vegetables..beans..
3)avoid spices and deep fried stuuf
4)breathing exercises are a must
5)stay away from constipation..ITS A MUST
2 apples a day will provide you with enough fibres
lastly....stop worrying..maximum diseases arise from your mind..so..relax and act
god bless
