Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

You have enumerated 4 of the 5 classical signs of inflammation (redness is the other one!).
With a background of Diabetes, he needs aggressive management....

Get him admitted -
Sugar is not well controlled?
The bacteria may not be sensitive to the antibiotic?
There may be underlying peripheral artery disease...
He needs further work up...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck

Hello,
Your history suggests that you are suffering from severe cellulitis and it has occurred due to uncontrolled diabets.
Unless and until your diabetes is controlled properly by injection insulin, your cellulitis won't get cured.
You require proper antibiotics along with meticulous control of blood sugar with injection insulin.
You must consult a diabetologist or get admitted to the hospital for proper management of your condition.
Failure to arrest your diabetes and infection may result in spreading of infection which may be fatal even.
Thanks
