Severe Pain In Upper Right Thigh While Walking And Broke Into Sweat. Should I Be Concerned?

I was taking a nap when I felt this ache on my front upper right thigh. As I got up to walk the pain intensified and I was not able to walk. The pain was extremely painful, where I thought I was going to faint and I broke out in a sweat. The pain lasted for about 5 minutes, the upper thigh is just swore now. Can you help answer my question, should I be concern?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
Your conditions can be because of transient muscle ischemia, but the causes are to be ruled out. A few things like your Age, Gender, any history of smoking, lifestyle and other medical history would help to look for a probable cause. Then it would follow a thorough work up like physical exam, X rays, and doppler USG for the part with some blood investigation.
Hope you find the answer useful.Feel free to ask any further questions.
Thanking you
