Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Your symptoms are very characteristic for gallstones. Due to gallbladder obstruction by gallstones you get characteristic upper right pain with radiation to the back and shoulder. Nausea and vomiting can be also present. The pain is usually triggered by fatty foods, spicy foods or alcohol.
If you have also fever, an inflammation is possible and you should visit a doctor right away.
If no fever, you may wait few days for your regular doctor visit. You should have abdominal ultrasound, blood work, liver tests done. In case of gallstones, laparoscopic surgery is necessary.

In a meanwhile please avoid fatty foods, spicy foods, alcohol, coffee.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
