General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, there appears to be a stretch of the muscles, due to bend, You may need to have rest, muscle relaxants etc , so i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe mefenamic acid, paracetamol, ofloxacin, and a crepe bandage. Thank you.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement Dr. K. Naga Ravi Prasad's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

It appears from the description that you could have suffered a soft tissue contusion resulting in all your symptomatology. An xray is mandatory to rule out any bony injury.

The general treatment guidelines are as follows -
* Give rest to the injured part and don’t involve in activities that causes pain.
* Ice packing should be applied for about 20 minutes once in every 2 hours.
* Use elastic compression bandage around the swollen area
* Elevation of the limb & active toe movements
* Analgesic & anti inflammatory medications as needed for a few days

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
