Severe Neck Pain, Headaches, Numbness In Armpits. Experienced A Jolt. Is It Case Of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome?
I was helping a friend off mine cut fencing to make tomato cages . We were using a shop portable plasma cutter. .I had the wire supported under each armpit & my feet in the fence on the ground . When he got to the last square I took a full jolt that went through both arms & gave me really nasty taste in my mouth . Do you think that this a possibility that this is causing my severe neck / headaches / numbness in each arm starting under my armpits .... could this be a case of thoracic outlets syndrome ? Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Since you had hurt while working, this will be the maximum chance for all your symptoms. I dont think this is thoracic outlet syndrome. You may need to get done radiological examination for this diagnosis. Get done one xray. Oterwise take complete rest, plenty of water, take Tab Aceclofenac with chlorzoxazone and if there is any swelling, abnormal or restricted movement, colour change then show it to your doctor for management. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
