Severe Flank Pain. History Of Chronic Kidney Infections. Blood In Urine. Need A Solution
Im having severe flank pain. So bad the morphine the hospital gave me through iv didn't even begin to dull the pain. CT came back normak, no stones. Kidney finction test came back normal. no infection but I am very resistant to antibiotics because of my chronic kidneyinfections. (56 in the past 32 months). passing some stringy dark red blood clots as well as large round clots in my urine. been to hospital and doctor numerious times. but I need help.
Hello Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have severe flank pain and frequent episodes of hematuria over last 2 years.
Your CT scan and renal function tests have been normal.In a given situation we have to rule out medical renal disease as a cause of your pain and hematuria.
Please consult qualified Nephrologist for clinical assessment and further investigation to find out the cause of hematuria.
You may need to undergo some tests like CT Angiography or Renal Biopsy to establish a cause of your problem. Dr.Patil.
