Severe Cough, Intense Headache And Chest Muscle Pain, Tried Several Home Remedies. Help?
sick for 14 days now. coughing severely in the last two days. tickle in the throat cures i have tried, cough drops, showers with eucalyptus and lavender oil, honey lemon tea ginger, homeopathic, now tylenol , allergy med at 2 mg, and nac Popsicle strawberry. eating cooling foods for lung clearing. Do you have any remedies, i am getting severe headache and chest muscles aches

You may use cough suppressants containing codeine along with the home remedies you are taking. Benz pearl tablets may be of immense help along with steam inhalation. You should also take pantoprazole tablets twice daily before food. Take plenty of water around 3-4 litre per day. With these you should start an antibiotic course preferably azithromycin 500 mg once daily after food for 6 days. From your history it seems to me that you are suffering from upper airway cough syndrome though you should consult a pulmonologist if cough persists in the same intensity despite these treatments to get yourself examined and treatment accordingly.
