Severe Constipation. Passing Blood During Bowel Movement. Having Abdominal Pain. Concerned?

Hi, I was very constipated a couple of days ago and I couldn t get it out at all. I strained and pushed really really hard but nothing came out. So I finally had to pull it out with my hand. The next day I get this pain in my side. Not a really bad pain, but kinda like the pain after you workout or have a cramp. Then I peed and when I wiped there was blood on my tissue. And a couple of weeks ago I was bleeding for about 14 days. idk if it was my period because my period is irregular. It s always been that way, it runs in my family. But it s never stayed on for 14 days, and the blood wasn t heavy at all so I didn t need a pan or tampon, it just came out when I wiped. So idk if that was a sign of something or what. But I want to know what you think the problem is and should I be concerned? Or did I just strain too hard?

Hello,

You had constipation and you manually evacuated the stool.
In the process you might have cause injury to the anal region.
This is indicated by pain and minimal amount of blood during wiping.
This is unlikely of irregular menstrual bleed because it is very minimal and only happens during wiping.
Use stool softeners and laxatives to prevent constipation.
take lot of oral fluids and fibers.
Apply antibiotic creams.
