Severe Burning In Stomach After Eating. Taking Cymbalta. Medication Side Effect?

I have just started on cymbalta and and the today is my second day and I have experienced sever stomach burning after eating for two hours or so. My stomach continues to burn and wonder if this is something that will stop after being on the medication longer or if it will continue to worsen. It has gotten worse as the day has gone on.

Hi
Stomach pain, nausea and even bleeding may occur as side effects of Cymbalta (duloxetine hydrochloride). To avoid such side effects, it can be started in low dose and gradually stepped up to a desirable dose and to be taken after food. For the stomach complaints, Anatacid suspension alone or a combination of oxetacine can given before food 3-4 times and if needed proton pump inhibitor like omeprazole 20 mg/ Rabeprazole 20mg/Pantoprazole 40mg to be taken in empty stomach. If symptoms persist, You need to consult your Doctor to consider change of medication(Cymbalta).
