I believe that you are afraid that you may not have a good semen analysis especially so since you are married for one year and I am assuming that you both are actively trying to have kids. I believe that the semen analysis is not going to be a definitive indicator of normality as there is a wide range of normal when it comes to semen analysis. I believe that you will do well with medications if you have problems with sexual excitement, i.e. with erection, libido or with ejaculation and with medications to help with your hormones if the hormone testing shows that there is low hormones that is the cause of your problems. Also using multivitamins helps boost the sperm quality. However, you need to consult a qualified doctor or a psychiatrist if you have any of the above problems. If you feel like you are too frustrated with all the efforts then IVF may be a good choice for you. Please discuss this with your wife and get the treatment as soon as possible.
