Red Itchy And Painful Spots On Legs, Becomes Bruise Later. What Could Be This?

Hello. I have been having this weird symptom for more than a year. I have many scattered red itchy and a little bit painful spots on my legs that usually appears for no reason (normally after I wake up or before I go to bed). About 2-3 days after their appearance they stop itching but become purple bruises/stains under the skin that never fade away. Since it's subcutaneous there is no cream that can remove the stains, and it's so uncomfortable for a girl like me. Do you know what exactly is this disease?

Hi, It seems that you are having allergic vasculitic purpura....
This is caused by inflammation and infiltration of the blood vessel wall as an anaphylactic reaction to a number of physical and chemical stimuli, including infections. Henoch-Schönlein purpura is one of the most common. Is often preceded by an upper respiratory tract infection due to beta-haemolytic streptococcal infection. Typically, it affects the fronts of the legs and the buttocks. The rash may continue to form over several weeks. Multiple infectious agents as well as drugs, foods, and insect bites may trigger Henoch-Schönlein purpura.
Diagnosis of Henoch-Schönlein purpura is clinical and not based on laboratory evaluation. Routine laboratory test results are usually within reference ranges....
Usually it is a self-limiting condition but it may respond to steroids. Still, consult dermatologist for perfect diagnosis and treatment.. Ok
