Recurring Flea Bites. Applied Creams, Not Helping. Suggestions?

I have had flea bites off and on for about two months. They are extremely itchy and just won't go away. I've tried all kind s of itch creams, Neosporin, bluestar medicated itch cream. Anyways, they seem to be getting worse lately. One of the bites looks like it's becoming infected . I have an appt. tomorrow, but I just wondered if this is normal to have them last so long. Hi,
It seems that due to itching due to flea bite might have secondary bacterial infection.
Take antihistamine tablet like Benadryl or Cetrizine for few days.
Go for one short course of antibiotic medicine.
Ok and take care.
