Recurrent Fever Since 1.5 Months. What Could Be The Reason ?

my son is 2 years 6 months old..since last 1.5 month he has recurrent fever..almost every week or in 15 days. Earlier it was fever upto 101F but this time it got upto104.3F. his activity is normal and has no ear or throat infection. Everytime his doctor says its viral. Fever goes in 3-5 days. is it possible to have such repeated viral fever for him?

recurrent fever can be because of recurrent infection.Or due relapse of partially treated infection. The infections need to be treated upto the phase of eradication ,not just upto phase of disappearance of fever or symptomatic well being. The antinfective therapy has to be continued beyond the period for variable duration depending on exact diagnosis.Repeated viral infections are possible and are acquired from contact with infected material/persons
