Have fluctuating high blood pressure, so far Norvasc causes my body to jerk when I start to go to sleep as well as insomnia. Verampil causes ringing in both ears. I have always had problems taking medication. My PVP of 35 yrs is at wits end as he knows how sensitive my body is to most medications. I am recovering from hatiall hernia surgery, I don't know where to turn to next for this blood pressure problem. Average pressure runs 170/86. Does these numbers even indicate a need for medication? I am 64 years old, and only med had been Protonix 40 mg every 2-3 day until my surgery. I have been blessed with good health until recently, I never had required medication before. Thanks
