Reason For The Pain Sudden After A Long Time?

Hi....I had an accident Oct 29th morning after superstorm sandy. There was a pipe explosion which set off side airbags one of which struck me on side/top of head. I have suffered from tingling of arms going into fingers, headaches, and some memory loss. I had an x-ray done and 2 and a half months of physical therapy. Most of pain went away but not the occaisional numbing and pain returned about 5 or 6 months ago. It's not severe; just dull and constant. I want to get an MRI done to rule out a pinched nerve or herniated disc. However, the feeling I get is that the pharmaceutical company that I work for is trying to avoid me getting one. What's your honest opinion..Thanks, Joe

Hi,
As you have radiculopathy following trauma then def MRI should b done to rule out neurological injury. Bony injury must have united with callus formation till this much time.
So in my opinion consult a orthopaedic clinc and get review .

Thanks n regards
Dr. K. Kunal
