Rash All Over The Body, Sweats At Night, Stiff Joints And Hands. Any Suggestions ?

My partner has developed a rash all over his body, he visited outpatients on Sunday, they thought it may be Molluscum, but were,nt sure, he visited his GP yesterday but they also could,nt be sure as to what is was, he has had blood tests taken. He is getting hot sweats at night and he is experiencing stiff joints and hands, which makes him feel cold, any suggestions please

Welcome and thanks for your to HCM.

After reading your query it appears that your partner is probably very much stressed regarding the possibility of molluscum contagiosum.

Now for molluscum contagiosum you and your partner should know that
ii is a viral infection caused by molluscum contagiosum virus which appears as pearl like and have central depression when fully formed.

Now you and your partner can check it out by yourself whether the ras is matching the description I have given above.

In my knowledge molluscum contagiosum do not exhibit itself as a rash. There is also no blood test which xan diagnose about the possibility of molluscum contagiosum.

It is better to consult a dermatologist for the immediate treatment so that it should not spread more.
