Pus Filled Blisters, Redness, Painful, Itchy, On Thigh, Scalp And Calf. Taken Lamictal. What Are They?

I am 43 and have never had this but I had a number of red pus filled (at first) extremely painful and itchy bumps break out on my scalp, bottom, top of thigh, back of calf, and inner thighs. All around the same time. I broke them and itched them and the scab will form but it starts to itch and feel painful again so I will itch them again. I havee had zero recent sexual activity but have been slowly increasing my dosage of a new medicine (Lamictal) while I stay on the same dosage of the med we hope to replacee (depakote). I read about a possible rash with using the two of them but this isn't a rash these are separate painful itchy bumps all in different spots. Thx!

Hi,

You are having itchy infected papular eruptions on scalp and lower extremities.

It seems that you may be having pruriginous folliculitis.

I do not think it to be drug rash.

There may be some cause...like stress,poor immunity,internal disease,weather,
Irritants..etc

Blood tests may be done to rule out DM,HIV,anaemia or other diseases.

Antihistaminics like levocetirizine may be taken till relief of itch.

Antibiotics may be taken to clear secondary infection.

Improve immunity with immunobusters, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals.

Take healthy food.

Avoid worries and stress.

Avoid soap bath, have dettol liquid bath.

I feel, you might improve, but, consult dermatologist.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
