Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Prednisolone is a steroid and its side effects are fluid retention in body.
Your ankle, swelling may bee due to accumulation of fluid around the joint.
Breathlessness is also a late effects of side effects of steroid.
Get in blood examination for steroid amount in the blood with level of calcium.
Consult a physician and get in complete check up of respiratory system as well cardiovascular system ( for heart beat).
Hope I have answered your query.
