You have not mentioned if
biopsy was taken; whether the
tumor was found as cancerous or non-cancerous.
Continue with Glivec for 12 weeks, followed by a
CT scan of stomach. If there is a satisfactory response to Glivec, it may be continued further.
To reduce your stomach symptoms, I suggest that you take very small frequent meals, every 2-3 hours. In addition, there is always iron and
vitamin deficiency due to affected absorption. Injectable Iron and
Folic Acid +
Vitamin B12 should be taken regularly, as per your doctor's advice.
Also, regular Probiotics and digestive enzymes will help.
