Prescribe Medicines For Bipolar Disorder
Lithosun SR 400mg twice a day now being taken for last 5 months for bipolar disorder. Patient is now completely normal and living normal life. How long medicine should be continued ? In bipolar disorder, duration of treatment depends upon number of episodes. In single episode, duration of treatment should be 9 months and in two episodes, duration should be 2 to 3 years. If number are more, then may be up to five years or more. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
