Hi,
In the present scenario, it remains to be seen if the bleeding has caused any damage to the embryo through the blood tests and the sonogram. It could be a threatened abortion likely to subside with rest and supportive treatment but it is always better to err on the risky part of it for better care. If the sonogram reveals a healthy pregnancy and the serum beta-hCG titres show doubling levels, there is little reason to worry about the status of the pregnancy and everything could go fine with proper surveillance. Abstinence, absolute bed rest and avoidance of any form of stress are mandatory in the present condition until further advice. Hope this helps. Wish you good health.
