Pregnant Of 31 Weeks. Sharp Pains For Short Time In Joint Of Hips And Pelvis, Irritable, Tired. History Of Preterm Labour Without Dialation. Recurred Preterm Labour?

Im 31 weeks and 2 days! I went into labor having contractions at 29 weeks but I wasn't dialating so their was nothing they could do but tell me to stay off my feet and lay on my left side. For the last couple of days I have been having very sharp pains that last about a minute to where I cant move at all until it stops where my hips join my pelvic area. I am very tired and ill(cranky) and irritable is this a sign that im going into preterm labor again?

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

Given that there was a concern about labor at 29 weeks (though you did not change your cervix) and you are now having what might be contractions again, then you should assume that this might be preterm labor. You are describing contractions and should be evaluated again as soon as possible!

I hope that this helps and good luck!
