Hi,
Thanks for the query.
You should not take tablets for termination with out consulting the doctor and confirming the intrauterine pregnancy.
If your bleeding and cramps are continuous better to consult gynecologist once to confirm the completion of abortion process.
If you took these tablets for the first time, these may not affect your future fertility. But repeated usage should be avoided.

Hello,
thanks for using health care magic.

Searle is a prostaglandine that causes uterine contraction. It is widely used for termination of pregnancy. Though widely used, the complications such as excessive bleeding from incomplete abortion are devastating and the cause of several deaths in young girls who terminate pregnancy without the supervision of a doctor.
Bleeding would occur as the pregnancy is terminated but when the bleeding is excessive ( you get to change several sanitary pads) and persistent then there is a problem and you should report immediately to hospital.
Abdominal cramps are due to the effect of the drug. There is no risk of loosing fertility unless you develop an infection that can damage your reproductive organs.
You should consult a doctor a doctor if the bleeding persists.
Best regards.
