General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, Welcome to HCM, I am Dr. Das

Look, absence of heartbeat at this stage of pregnancy indicates possibility of missed abortion.

You should wait for a week. Then do an ultrasound scan again. If the report is within normal limit, then it is alright, otherwise you have to go for dilation and evacuation.

So, wait for one more week and then consult with your treating doctor again.

Regards.

OBGYN Dr. Mrs Sumeet Baheti's  Response
Hello there,
Thanks for writing to HCM,
I would suggest you to get ultrasound done from one more Sonologist, to be sure about viability of pregnancy, as the heart beat was detected previously and now it is not seen.
Hope this will be helpful to you.
