Popped Neck, Stiff Neck And Pain, Looks Swollen. What Can I Do To Make It Better?

In the middle of the night yesterday my neck popped and ever since I ve hadan extreme pain on the right side its stiff and looks swollen I have trouble turning Mt head either way and its hard for me to stand up.what can I do to make it better? YYYY@YYYY I don t have any money can you please send me the answer

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
It seems that you had a muscle sprain in your neck. A bony injury needs to be ruled out after an MRI scan of the neck. Till then you can use a cervical collar for relief. Do a hot fomentation and take a mild pain killer till proper diagnosis is made.
