i am 17 years 7 months old.
doctor said i got polytheistic overies.
i am 80 kg weight.
i might had periods once or twice in a year since i started periods (2008)
i was on cyproperone for 6 months. no relief in terms of my achne or over hair growth problems.
i am too much worried of its affecst and particularly my grand mother was diagnoised with breast cancer 2 years ago.
is my problem curable? my achne got worsen and my weight only going up.
need help

PCOS is usually a life long conditions. Its a complex metabolic syndrome. However it can be controlled with medication. You will need medication like cyproterone regularly to regularise your cycles. You should also get your thyroid levels checked.PCOS is a condition that can be controlled with medication,lifestyle changes,diet and exercise.
