Persistent Cough, Bronchitis, Pain Under Breasts, Pain On Applying Even The Slightest Pressure. Treatment?
I have had a nagging cough along with bronchitis for over a month, although cough getting better.....I have a strong pain that alternates from side to side under my breast and around to my upper back side. It hurts all the time and it hurts when the slightest pressure is applied. Of course hurts more when I cough or laugh. The pain is very draining; I feel very tired.
After reading your post, it seems that your pain is due to muscular pain as a result of coughing.
You should take antihistaminic like Fenofexadine 120 mg once a day to decrease the cough.
Pain can be relieved by hot fomentation or by taking mild pain killer like Paracetamol.
You should also get investigated for :-
1. Complete Blood Count(CBC).
2. Absolute Eosinophil Count.
3. IgE.
4. Chest X-Ray(PA iew).
Bronchodilators may be started after discussing with your doctor.
If the symptoms persist, get yourself examined clinically.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
