Period Is On For 14 Days. Have Bruises In Thighs, Elbows And Wrist. Anything To Worry?

Hi so I've had my period for 14 days now went to the doctor because I notices bruises appearing on my legs they said they didn't know why I was bleeding or bruising and now 4 or 5 days later where they stuck the IV is all bruised up and between my elbow and wrist under my forearm there is a small red ish bruise with a lump underneath and it hurts to the touch or when I move it it feels like a bruise pain don't know what it could be or if its serious.

Thank you for posting your question here and I will try to answer it as best as I can.
The bruising can be either because you have thin skin, but if that was the case you would already know about it, having had the condition your whole life.
So it cant be that, bruising so easily is a sign that there is something wrong with your clotting system, this could be several things like thrombocytopenia, ITP or hemophilia.
Go to you doctor again and ask them to run your blood work to check what your thrombocyte level is. In the meantime avoid physical activity that can cause bruising as much as you can. Once again see a doctor as soon as possible.
