Painful Vagina, Had UTI. Done STD Tests. Is It Due To Lack Of Lubrication?

Lately, my boyfriend and I have been having sex like rabbits. Almost twice a day, everyday. But lately, we noticed that I bleed during and after sex, and it hurts when he penetrates me (the pain is usually towards the opening of the vagina). Could this be due to the lack of lubrication? I went to the doctor like 2 weeks before due to a UTI, and when she was taking samples for some STD tests, I noticed that the Q-tip turned out pink after she swabbed me and she said it was because I'm "raw." How long should I wait to have sex again so I can "heal up"?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Bleeding during and after intercourse can be related to: (1) lack of lubrication as you mentioned (2) infection (3) cervical polyps (4) uterine polyps (5) changes in the cells of the cervix

If you had a recent papsmear, it is unlikely to be related to any cervical changes.

If it is related to to lack of lubrication and the area is bruised then you should wait 3 to 4 days for it to heal.
You should also consider the use of a lubricant when you restart intercourse to prevent any future trauma.

I hope this helps

Hi, thanks for using HCM.

The explanation looks like lack of lubrication. This happens when there is increased frequence as explained by you.
Hope your periods are regular, if not then this needs evaluation. Or else give break for 3-4 days and can use lubricants. Avoid non lubricated candoms.

Hope this helps you.

Regards
