Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way your brain processes pain signals.

Symptoms sometimes begin after a physical trauma, surgery, infection or significant psychological stress.

While there is no cure for fibromyalgia, a variety of medications can help control symptoms like Analgesic (Tylenol, Aleve, Motrin etc), Antidepressants ( cymbalta, prozac etc), Anticonvulsants (Neurontin, lyrica etc). Exercise, relaxation and stress-reduction measures also may help.

Please follow the below mentioned -

* Get rid of the negative thoughts in your head.

* Get rid of the stress in your life (as much as possible).

* Get physically healthy.

* Get mentally healthy.

* Begin to safely reduce the amount of narcotic pain medications if you’ve been taking them.

* Understand the current thinking regarding fibromyalgia, participate in your own recovery, and partner with a fibromyalgia specialist.

* Expect success – visualize it

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
