I am a 53yr old woman. For the past 10days I have been having pain in my lower right side, going into my back. It hasn t subsided in any way. Waiting to have an ultrasound
hello dear
lower abdominal pain radiating to back ,most common cause would be renal tract stones. less likely to be from pathology of uterus and ovary. hence its better to undergo ultasound examination of abdomen and pelvis. if report comes in favour of renal tract stones, smaller stones do not require any special treatment. bigger symptomatic need intervention. hope this answer is helpful to you.
take care
hello
it can be due to urinary calculus, intestinal pathology specially ilececal region. Get an ultrasound done and get yourself examined from a surgeon because radiological investigation needs to be correlated
with clinical findings.
lower abdominal pain radiating to back ,most common cause would be renal calculus or ureteric calculus, pathology of uterus and ovary. do a urgent r ultasound examination of abdomen and pelvis to know the cause and depending on that you will consider a urosurgeon or a gynaecologist.
