Pain In Left Wrist On Bending, Affecting Only Left Wrist. Treatment?
for who knows how long (maybe a month or 2) i have been feeling pain in my left wrist , however only when it bends up to a certain point and more. the more it bends up the more it hurts. also it only affects the left wrist and nothing else for so reason. one thought is at work where i put mainly bikes together also furniture sometimes might be the cause. since i can use both arms to do the same things it would affect both arms right? do you have any ideas on why?
It seems that you are having soft tissue injury in your left wrist due to some heavy weight lifting.
You should give adequate rest to the left wrist. This helps in fast recovery.
You can take pain killer like Diclofenac 50 mg one tablet twice a day after meals along with antacidOmeprazole 20 mg once a day. Medicines should be taken under medical supervision only.
Apply some pain relieving gel on the left wrist. Also apply wrist support if needed.
If the problem persists, get yourself examined by an Orthopedician and get following investigations done :-
1. Serum Uric Acid
2. Serum Calcium
3. X-Ray left wrist (AP and Lateral view)
I hope ths is helpful you.
Thanks.
