Pain In Left Side. Hurts While Touching Clothes, Like Sunburned. Given Lantus, NoverlinR, Amitiptylin, Sertraline And Trama-Dol-HCL. Reason For Pain?
I Have been having pain in my left side since the middle of july it sometimes is shooting pains and it hurts for clothes to touch it,it also burns like if it was sunburned.I take lantus, and noverlinR ,also amitiptylin 50mg,sertraline50mg and Trama-Dol-HCL50mg for pain.Could it be any of these medicines causing the pain?
Hi Thanks for the query. From the description of the pain it appears neuritic in origin, i.e., due to irritation of nerves. The medications which you have mentioned do not cause this symptom and in fact amitryptiline and tramadol sometimes help in pain relief. If the problem is persisting please see your physician for more powerful analgesic prescription. Hope this helps. Good luck.
