Pain in buttocks. No constipation. Reason?

I am an 18 year old male. I eat healthy and exercise regularly. I don't smoke or drink at all. For some reason I have been waking up in the morning in my dorm room and my butt hurts really bad like I am constipated but I poop just fine. I've talked to my dorm mate about it but he says its normal from stress in college... It doesn't make sense to me. What could be causing me to be hurting like this. It feels like something big has been jammed up there.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
One reason is sure that you have some anxiety.
Please don't take it lightly , so first of all get ultrasound of your abdomen and rule out any disease.
Please check your blood at lab after the consultation of a doctor as ESR and C B C. Examination of blood will reveal many things as liver function test because that is important in your case.
If any change in the habit of intestine than take it seriously.
Habit of intestine means sometime constipation , other time diarrhea, sometimes hard stool followed by loose, so make sure that there is nothing wrong.
Good luck . Dr HET.

Hi friend,

Welcome to Health Care Magic

If everything seems otherwise normal, it may be from irritation of the nerves, supplying the area...

Sacrum and coccyx could be contributing to the pain

Get yourself examined by a doctor...

Take care

Wishing speedy recovery

God bless

Good luck
