can u please explain the outcome of sinusitis operation and its complications... the precautionary steps to be taken after surgery ... its recurrence rate after operation...

The surgery for Sinusitis is called FESS.
Complications are-- nasal synachia, reoccurance, infection, osteomyeliyis., injury to olfactory mucosa.

After surgery avoid hard nose blowing, do nasal douching daily, consult ur surgeon every week.

A surgery is indicated when medication doesnt work . Have you tried alternative therapy like homoeopathy. If no then please do. Sinusitis , allergic rhinitis respond very well to homoepathy.
As for the surgery, recurrence of symptoms is one issue.
Precautions- avoiding irritatants, dust, cold exposure , any thing that could cause ENT infections.
Complications depends on what pair of sinus they are operating on.
