On a low carbohydrate diet. Severe pain on the legs. Due to vitamin deficiency?

I am 35 and since February I have lost about 40 pounds and now weigh about 140 and I have been feeling great. I am on a low-carb diet and with 4 children and working full-time I am on my feet most of the day. I now have severe pain in the front of both legs (shins) that hurts just for clothing to touch. Could this be a vitamin deficiency?
