Offensive Odour From Vaginal Area. Reason?
I m a 59 yr old women. I have recently developed a foul smell (Body Odor) I m unsure of where it s coming from. It kind of remind me of the old women smell. It smell like it s coming from my vagina area. I havent had sex 11 years since 2002. what can it be? I shower using body wash even purchased vagisil without any sucess help??!!

I understand it can be disturbing to experience such an odor from the body. The key to knowing where this odor comes from, as you already suggest a vaginal origin shall be a well conducted physical examination by your doctor. It could also be interesting to know if you have any discharge, itches, excessive urination or pain when you urinate. If present, a urinary tract infection of vaginal infection would be the greatest or most probable cause.
Consult your family physician first. While waiting, shaving around the vaginal region and a proper hygiene are advisable. I would suggest you avoid any vaginal medicines for now not prescribed by your doctor. Kind regards.
