Occasional Sore Between Buttocks, Burning Sensation. Diagnosed With Hemeroids. Is Hemeroids The Cause?
Every once in a while (maybe once a year) i get an occasional sore tween my buttocks. It burns and takes about a week to go away. I have a doctor look at it one time and they did not think it was herpes. Any idea what the cause would be? I have been diagnosed with hemeroids recently. could that cause a little sore between the buttocks that would cause burning?
Hi, Thanks for the query to H.C.M.Forum. Hemorrhoids is bulging of rectal veins so a small peas nut size node feels after defecation. In hemorrhoids there are pain ( may be , may not be), itching, mild burning sensation around anus. In few patients there is fistula in anus in which there is severe pain ( mild in few cases initial stage), but this is a progressive disease so you haven't this. Most important reason of this sore may be due to dermatitis around anus. In few cases due to pin worm infestation there is itching and mild sore particularly in the night. So please consult one more doctor and physical examination will reveal the exact nature of disease. Good luck. DR HET.
