Numbness all over the body. Is this cause of anxiety disorder ?

In December 2010 I had two cups of coffee a few hours before I went to bed. During the night I woke up with a numb feeling in my right hand. It then started to spread everywhere around my body, even my mouth. The doctors at the hospital said I must have been lying on my arm and I woke up and had a panic attack which caused the numbness . But ever since then I have never felt right, i feel short of breath (like I cant breathe) at times and feel numb, (but not as bad in December). Im frightened to sleep out anywhere incase this happens again. It sometimes occurs when i have caffeine (coffee/fizzy pop) and i was wondering can this cause it or do I have an axienty disorder? I am a 14 yr old female and I have no Medical History .

I m 19 years old, I have an anxiety disorder that produces a lot of bodily symptoms. However, for the last 3-4 days i have had a numbness, tingling, weakness, weird feeling down the right side of my body especially on my right buttock and the top of my hand and shin. I am under a lot of stress at the moment, and I was wondering if this could be caused by my anxiety disorder? Also, I spent several days last week sitting in an awkward position typing. I had an MRI scan 3 years ago.

She cannot digest food properly and has motion soon after taking food. Other symptons are, very fast hear beat now and then, feels very cold, shivering, when the heart beat is fast feel numbness on the left side of the body. Doctors have also termed anxiety as one of the reasons. what should be the right course of treatment. what should be her diet.

In the last year I have started to develop physical symptoms of anxiety - breathlessness, IBS, chest pain, numb face, internal tremors, dizzyness, nausea etc. It started with just breathlessness and then more and more symptoms developed over time. I had no idea what this was and have been told by the docs that they are anxiety problems. I am not a stereotype anxious person, anyone would say I am pretty confident and chilled. However, I trust the doc that these are due to anxiety - wherever that is coming from... what I have noticed though is that my symptoms come on around my period and also when I ovulate. I am fine for the rest of the month. If these anxiety symptoms have been brought on by hormone levels, how can I go about treatment? I have always have problems with my periods and my symptoms each month are always extreme; endometriosis, heavy periods, awful pain, sweating, very bad skin, very painful breasts etc - so I guess hormone related issues wouldn t surprise me... any ideas???

most nights i seem to have a problem sleeping as my heart seems to be beating too fast and once ive set my mind on it it doesn t stop. to begin with i had panic attacks as i smoke marajuana and im quite a stressed individual but now my chest hurts regularly, and when i try fall asleep at night i ll be woken up all of a sudden struggling for breath. even after a walk or just going out with some friends my heart starts to pound, i m really really worried, if i know i can t die because of it i d be so much more relaxed but i m sure it s something more than a panic attack.

my heart is pounding really hard. it s been doing it for about two days now. i have had panic attacks, it doesn t feel like a panic attack. it s kind of scaring me. should i go to the hospital or is it more than likely just a new kind of panic attack that i haven t experienced yet?

I have been having a tightness in my chest and a feeling of heaviness for about 2 hours now. It also feels a little tight in my throat and I feel as though I cannot get as much air in my lunges as usual. This has happened to me before and last time was a few weeks ago when I was on holiday... could this be something to do with the heat? Just before the feeling came on I was eating chocolates - I m wonder if this has affected my sugar levels or blood pressure perhaps. I am trying not to panic as I am wondering is this a panic attack without me realising its one?? Thank you for reading, hope you can help . Sara

I have been taking vyvanse for years now and since i have been in college sometimes i stay up all night to study, sometimes days at a time. I usually take 40mg in the morning and around 5 take another 40 and then around midnight take another 40 and repeat the same thing the next day.I experience a lot of the symptoms of overdose such as stomach pains, hallucinations, rapid heart beat, anxiety, trembling, etc. I did not know that it was so bad for you and i just figured those symptoms were from not sleeping. I have been doing this for almost 3 years now but since i have learned about it i have cut back but i am still nervous about the damage already caused. Are there any long term effects to overdosing frequently?
