Noticing Migraine And Sickness After A Ternination
I had a medical termination at 9 weeks 8 weeks ago. The termination failed and following a trip to A&E with a very large bleed I was diagnosed as anemic and had a surgical termination one week ago as there was still a large amount of conception product left behind. Since the original termination 8 weeks ago I have been getting bad migraines with sickness every week. I have had another since the surgery and feel lightheaded and tired. Is this something to be concerned about?
Hello, Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having.
During a medical termination of pregnancy, there is a chance that you have a complication or an injury because of it. There is a chance that you have an infection after the abortion. You should see your Doctor and confirm this.
An examination may reveal pain in the abdomen. Later on, you should get a Complete Blood count done to check the levels of White Blood Cells. The WBC will indicate the type of infection that you have. In most cases, you may have neutrophil levels that are high which will cause issues. All the best and wish you a speedy recovery.
Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further. Dr Vignan
