Noticed Blood After Periods. Using Birth Control Pills. Partner Used Vapor Rub. Due To Vapor Rub?

Hello. i am a 17 year old female, i am sexually active but i am using birth control, i just finished having my period 2 weeks ago, but just a few days ago i started noticing blood, not fresh but darker, i dunno, my boyfriend accidentally got vapor rub on his penis and we had sex, it irritated me and i felt the urge to go to the washroom ever 2 seconds, could the blood be for the vapor rub or is it something else?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Birth control pills can cause inter-menstrual spotting as side effect.
So that can be one cause to your problem.
Post-coital bleeding can also be noticed sometimes. Vapor rub may cause irritation but that may not be responsible for the spotting.
Anyhow you observe the spotting, usually that will subside soon. If that didn't get repeat no need to worry.
