No Sensation To Have Bowel Movements And Urination. History Of Post Hysterectomy Diarrhea Treated With Some Sachets. No Burning. Concerning?

Hi, I had a total laparscopic hysterectomy on Friday. Today is Tuesday in Australia and I have absolutely no sensation to have a bowel movement. I had a diarrhea on Saturday and had a feeling that was from the sachets I was given on Thursday to empty bowels. Since then no sensation to go and not constipated at all. I am also urinating without any sensation to go and it is a lot. No burning either but no feeling of relief. Do I go back to the ER?

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your current problem, Yes it does sound bit odd, that you have no sensation about the bowel movement as well as no sensation while urination even though you are urinating.

I would recommend you to have an visit to near by medical center.

Thanks, hope it helps.
Dr.JAY PATEL.
