Need Help With Understanding My Liver Condition

I have been seeing a doctor for 15 years over my liver, and over the years it has gotten worse, I am in pain 95% of the time and now my levels are alkaline phosphatase is 186, my ALT is 88 and my AST is 60. my doctor gives me no idea what it is. Can you please tell me what it could be as the older I get the worse it gets.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Your alkaline phosphatase level is within normal limits, indicating no obstruction.
2. Your ALT and AST level is elevated indicating mild hepatic inflammation. It could be due to alcohol. If you are not taking taking alcohol, it might be due to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. Lipid profile is necessary for correlation.
3. Get your lipid profile evaluated. Weight reduction is also essential.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
